Well Completion
Dissolvable Frac Plug
Magnesium-alloy stage-isolation tools configured to remove conventional milling from plug-and-perf completion programs.

Product configuration
Representative tool architecture
The photographed tool shows one available configuration. Final geometry, material route, sealing architecture, pressure rating, and dissolution window are selected for the completion program.
- Quotation inputs
- Casing, pressure, temperature, fluid chemistry, setting method
- Configuration status
- Selected and documented per application
Overview
Dissolvable frac plugs provide pressure isolation during hydraulic fracturing, then degrade according to the selected magnesium alloy, downhole temperature, and fluid chemistry. The application review links casing and completion requirements to alloy selection and tool design. Final architecture, rating, and dissolution window are confirmed against the completion program.
Key Features
- Controlled-dissolution magnesium alloy selected for the well environment
- Available configurations rated up to 70 MPa (approximately 10,000 psi)
- Operating envelope from 30°C to 150°C, depending on configuration
- Single-slip, double-slip elastomer-sealed, and all-metal architecture routes
- No milling, drill-out, or coiled tubing intervention required
- Representative casing programs include 4-1/2", 5", and 5-1/2"
- Dissolution window confirmed from temperature, salinity, fluid chemistry, and exposure time
