Dissolvable frac plugs are engineered from proprietary magnesium-based alloys that provide full mechanical integrity during hydraulic fracturing operations, then dissolve completely in wellbore fluids after stimulation — eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming milling or drill-out operations. HovoyPetro dissolvable frac plugs are manufactured at our partner facility with advanced powder metallurgy and alloy engineering, delivering predictable dissolution rates across a wide range of downhole temperatures and fluid chemistries.
